Help Us Make the Holidays Brighter for Our Youth!

Please add cheer and hope this holiday season for our Challengers participants. Two ways you can donate some holiday love . . .

  • Specific gifts (new, unused), such as small appliances for youths' apartments, small electronics (tablets, earphones, video games, etc.)

  • Tax-exempt monetary donations--will be used to purchase gift cards and gifts to ensure all our participants will receive blessings of the season. Click on the candy canes below to donate online.

Black Friday through Giving Tuesday (November 24-28, 2023) are ideal days to shop for our youth!

Non-monetary gifts and donation checks: please have delivered by Tuesday, December 12, 2023, to the Challengers Independent Living main office:

 Challengers Independent Living, Inc.

2500 N. Rolling Road, Suite 201

Windsor Mill, MD 21244

ANNUAL COLLEGE TOURS

Challengers provides the opportunity for our transitional-aged youth to tour colleges on the east coast during spring break week.  This experience exposes them to campus-life and allows them to ask admissions-related questions in person.  We also encourage and assist our teens to apply for Maryland's Waived-Tuition Program, which is only utilized by a staggering 1% of children in the foster care system. Most of our participants are very interested in going to college, and many have graduated from & received degrees from Trinity, University of Maryland, Coppin and Towson State Universities!

IT'S A CHALLENGE NOT A PROBLEM
