Challengers provides the opportunity for our transitional-aged youth to tour colleges on the east coast during spring break week. This experience exposes them to campus-life and allows them to ask admissions-related questions in person. We also encourage and assist our teens to apply for Maryland's Waived-Tuition Program, which is only utilized by a staggering 1% of children in the foster care system. Most of our participants are very interested in going to college, and many have graduated from & received degrees from Trinity, University of Maryland, Coppin and Towson State Universities!
